WOMANS VOICE ON RADIO

"It is now 24 hours since the young girl, Abbey Royston was reported missing from her parents home located on the outskirts of Wombwell Woods. The young girl is believed to be another victim of the reported Hanger Man who police believe has already claimed 3 victims in the area. Police are urging anybody with information to come forward immediately!"

Changes To Our Film

We have decided that we are going to add an extra scene to the beginning of our film. This will be our films title sequence.

It will consist of The Hanger, who is getting ready to go out and claim his next victim. We will show a mysterious figure come into a room, place a static radio down onto a table which he will then tune. Our radio broadcast we have recorded will then play. Over the broadcast we will show clips of The Hanger (dressed in all black) putting on black boots, black gloves, pulling a hood over their head and finally, picking up a rope as they leave the room.

We believe that by adding this title sequence we will add a significant thriller effect to our story, and also have filmed in another location which will help to interest the audience.

Film Locations

The first location where we will be filming is a dark classroom in college. In ths opening sequence, 'The Hanger' is shown getting equiptment ready for their next killing as a radio broadcast about a missing girl is played. A dark room is used for this because these shots of the film need to give off a mysterious dark feel to the film. It is also important a dark room is used, because 'The Hanger's' face is never shown in these shots, which adds to the tensions and thrilling genre.

This is the second location where we will be shooting our film. This location is Wombwell woods in Barnsley. We chose this location because it's a remote place that fits in perfectly with our film genre of thriller/horror. It also has that scary appeal about it, with the quiet environment and the sounds then appear louder and scarier than they actually are.

Risk Assesment
We completed a risk assesment form for when and where we were going to be filming. We had to consider all possible risks and how we would solve these risks, so that we could film in a safe risk free environment.
